There's hope for these two yet.Courteney Cox has finally addressed the split from hubby David Arquette, opening up about the topic for the first time by saying they're still trying to work things out.
"I don't know what will happen, but this is not like we're getting divorced," Cox said in the interview with People.
So what's with the back and forth?

"This is a separation, and I think that takes a lot of courage," Cox added. "Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us."
But the Friends star still admitted all wasn't rosy in the Cox-Arquette separation, acknowledging that the duo has been living separate lives for some time.
"Sometimes you just realize 'Wow, we actually have grown apart,' " she said of their 11-year marriage.
The two announced their split in early October with a brief statement:

"We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time. The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. As we go though this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together."
As for the "kindness and understanding" part, Arquette has been tweeting and using Howard Stern as a platform to jabber on and on about his hookups and his heartbreak.
But Cox is taking it all in stride.
"[David] is a kook. It's not shocking. And Howard Stern, he loves him and I'm a fan of Howard Stern. David is an entertainer and I'm sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories," she said.
It's not just talk on Courteney's part, either. The two have appeared in public together and spent Halloween with 6-year-old daughter Coco—David even tweeted that Courteney's sunflower outfit looks "incredible."
